Luke 6:47-48 (NASB) - Everyone who comes to Me, and hears My words, and acts upon them, I will show you whom he is like:  he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation upon the rock; and when a flood rose, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.
How do you build a family, a ministry, and a life that lasts for generations? In this sermon, Angie Robertson starts in Luke 6:47-48 with Jesus' picture of a house built on the rock, then goes to Genesis 1:1-2 to look at how God builds: imagining the blueprint in His heart, speaking, bringing order from chaos, and resting in what He made.
This message shows that the same Holy Spirit Who hovered over the formless, empty deep hovers over your home with tender affection, and that Jesus sends the Helper to bring order from disorder, purpose from chaos, and beauty from ashes.

Acts 16.34 (NIV): "The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God—he and his whole household."
WE ALL NEED MORE JOY! In "Filled With the Joy of Salvation," Danny Robertson walks through Acts 16: Paul and Silas beaten and locked in the inner cell, singing at midnight, and a Roman jailer who asks, "What must I do to be saved?" By morning he and his whole household are baptized, fed at a banquet, and filled with joy. Danny connects the jailer's joy to Jesus's own joy in Luke 10 and Hebrews 12.2, "for the joy set before him," and asks whether we've lost our first love (Revelation 2.4).
If you're searching for the joy of salvation, how to regain your joy, the story of Paul and Silas in prison, the Philippian jailer, what it means to believe in the Lord Jesus, or why joy fades after you first meet God, this Bible study on Acts 16 is for you.

Nehemiah 8.17 (NIV): "The whole company that had returned from exile built temporary shelters and lived in them. From the days of Joshua son of Nun until that day, the Israelites had not celebrated it like this. And their joy was very great."
Where does real joy come from? In this sermon, Danny Robertson shows that joy is different from happiness. Happiness is tied to circumstances, but joy as a fruit of the Spirit is in us regardless of what is going on around us. From the return of the exiles in Nehemiah 8 to the angels' announcement of "great joy" in Luke 2.10, this message traces joy through Scripture to its source: being put in right standing with the living God.

1 Corinthians 13:12 (NIV):
"For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known."
What if people who actually died came back and told us what they saw? This episode closes out the Feast of Tabernacles with a survey of near-death experience research from John Burke (Imagine Heaven), a former skeptic who studied over 1,500 documented cases and found striking commonalities across people of every religious background — compared against Scripture's own descriptions of heaven in 1 Corinthians 13:12, John 14, and Revelation 21.

Have you ever felt like everything depends on you — like if you don't get it right, no one will, and there's no room for mistakes? This message unpacks an ancient ritual for Yom Kippur, or Day of Atonement: a high priest entering behind a veil, stripped of his usual garments, carrying blood that wasn't his own, and two identical animals with two completely different fates — one sacrificed, one sent away carrying everything that had gone wrong. Angie Robertson walks through what this ritual reveals about Jesus — a far better high priest who didn't need to repeat the process year after year, but finished it once, for good. From there, the message moves into the book of Hebrews to make the case that you don't have to earn your way into God's presence.
You're invited to draw near with confidence, not crawl in fear. Along the way: the difference between David and Saul and how each one responded to correction, why painful seasons might actually be preparing you for something, and the ancient picture of hope as a literal rope lowered down to someone in danger.

Numbers 29:1 (NIV):
"'On the first day of the seventh month hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. It is a day for you to sound the trumpets.'"
This sermon unpacks the Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah), clears up why Rosh Hashanah as commonly celebrated isn't actually this feast's biblical origin, tells the dramatic story of Abraham and Isaac on Mount Moriah, and traces the trumpet theme to "the last trumpet" in 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 — the return of Christ. The message closes by connecting trumpets to breath and the Holy Spirit, making the case that believers themselves are now trumpets of God.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NIV):
"Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies."
Do you ever feel like your body is just... yours to do whatever you want with? Scripture says something surprising: it's not — and that's actually good news. This episode walks through 1 Corinthians 6:12-20, where Paul tells the Corinthian church their bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, addressing purity and self-control through the lens of body, soul, and spirit. Danny traces the story of Joseph fleeing Potiphar's wife, then connects it to Jesus Himself, mocked on the cross for claiming He was a temple that would be destroyed and rebuilt in three days.

John 1:32 (NIV):
"Then John gave this testimony: 'I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him.'"
Jesus is the eternal, incarnate Son of God — fully God, fully man — yet Scripture shows Him ministering through the Holy Spirit throughout His earthly life. This episode walks through John 1:29-34, where John the Baptist testifies that he saw the Spirit descend on Jesus like a dove — and remain. Danny unpacks why Jesus, though fully God, chose to live and minister in His humanity by the Spirit's power, modeling for us the same dependence He calls us to walk in. From there, the message traces Luke 4's wilderness temptation, the Nazareth synagogue reading of Isaiah 61, and John 3:31-36, where Jesus receives the Spirit "without limit." Along the way: a striking coincidence on the Jewish calendar involving Noah's dove, and a detailed look at a well-known near-death experience account.

What happens when you mess up — again — and you're not sure you can face God about it? This episode walks through 1 John 2:1-2 and one of the most comforting ideas in Scripture: we have an Advocate, and His name is Jesus.
Danny Robertson traces the word "advocate" (Greek: parakletos) through John 14-16, showing how it points first to the Holy Spirit and then, in 1 John, to Jesus Himself — the one who stands at the Father's right hand pleading your case. From there, the message opens into the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), the ancient scapegoat ritual, and the Ark of the Covenant, tracing how each one foreshadows what Jesus already accomplished on the cross.
1 John 2:1-2 (NIV):
"My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world."
